Somewhen in May in Glarus, Gian and Sandro approached me, asking “hey Andri, you know this summer we are all stuck in the valley. Could we build something small at the park?” Both of them are the heart and soul of the Habash crew which rips in and around the massiv skatepark in Näfels.
“What do you want to build?” I asked. The response was a little hesitantly but quite clear: Let’s do something with the old bowl. “You know those Wonder guys, maybe if the help out we could do something there. We are super down to help but don’t feel confident enough to do it on our own” Two months later, we took a well-deserved swim in the lake to clean off the dirt from two weeks of rave-style work. Thanks, Corona, for forcing us to stay grounded. Thanks, all hands that joined in! If you want to know what happened. Get the next Forever Playground in print!
